Paper Wreaths and Home Decor Blog Hop
Hello Everybody,
Welcome to the Paper Wreaths and Home Decor Blog Hop!!! We have an amazing line up for you with gorgeous creations!!! If you came from Connie's blog, you're right on track. If you'd like to start from the beginning, go HERE
Ok so here are my wreaths! I made one for my Daughter Mekayli and one for my Son Onnell. I got 2-9" wicker wreaths from Dollar Tree and ribbon from my stash.(that I probably got from Michael's or JoAnn's.) The initials are printed on white cardstock using Curlz MT font. I used my Creative Memories cutters to cut the circles and a scalloped round punch for my daughter's initial. So all I did was cut the ribbon at 9" and tied them to the bottom half of the wreath. I made a double knot to secure it. Then just alternated the colors.
Hugs, Wandy

This Cute Lil' Bear is my first paper piecing! I'm sorry I cannot remember what company I got it from. But I also forgot to add the muzzle...Oops...LOL! But she still looks super cute! I used Doodle Bug Twine and Paper from my stash!♥
For this patriotic card I used my favorite Jaded Blossom stamp set Bug-a-boo!
Shh she's supposed to be a Bee! lol I colored her into a 4th Of July Bee! Using Prisma colored pencils and baby oil. (This was my 2nd time coloring!! woot woot!!) Bakers Twine from Talking Twine and Trim (Jodi has an awesome deal on it!) and paper from my stash.
Hope you had an amazing 4th July with Family and Friends!

A Homespun Affair - July Edition!!
Hello Friends!!
It's July 1st, the most Uh-May-Zing time of the month! The July Edition of A Homespun Affair E-mag is out! Woot woot!!! This edition is exploding with craftiness!!! :)
A Sweet Life:
Bada-Bing Bada-Boom Cake Explosion
This month America celebrates The 4th of July! And what's a celebration without yummy cake!?!
I created a deeelish tri-color cake.
For my image I used the super cute 4th of July owl digi by Jaded Blossom. I colored it in MS paint and printed using my special printer for edible images, and I printed it on a Wilton frosting sheet. I just loved the outcome. Then I covered the cake in fondant and decorated it with patriotic colored shell border. That was the Bada-Bing! The Bada-Boom comes when you cut a piece of cake and see the gorgeous red, white, blue color explosion inside!!! It just makes the cake that much more fun to eat!!
Here is how the inside looks! Bada-BOOM!!!
I also made 2 cards for July's color challenge. The colors fit perfectly with my cake!!!
As they are red, white, & blue!
For the Lil Girl card I used the Bug-a-boo stamp set from Jaded Blossom, and colored her using Prisma colored pencils!(She's supposed to be a bee but I made her a patriotic bee...lol!) The bear was my first EVER paper piecing!! She looks too cute holding her little American flag!!
